The Must-sees of the trip

Here you will see rock paintings, prehistoric settlements and mud volcanoes. Visit to the Bibi-Heybat complex.
- Shirvan National ParkThe Shirvan National Park is one of the most beautiful corners of nature in Azerbaijan. It is known as a habitat for rare animals, especially goitered gazelles, unusually graceful animals. Birdwatchers will find the park a true paradise: Its 54,000 ha. area is home to over 270 species that cannot be seen anywhere else.
- ShamakhiYour next destination is Semakhi, one of the oldest cities in Azerbaijan, with a rich heritage. Here you will see the magnificent Friday Mosque, the nostalgic cemetery of Yeddi Gümbez and the family tombs of the Shirvanshahs.

Gala Museum and the Temple of Fire

Ganja – Göygöl / Elenendorf

Its eventful history can also be seen in the special buildings, among which the 17th century Shah Abbas Mosque, the 19th century Orthodox church and the mausoleum for the Azerbaijani national poet Nizami Ganjevi stand out. The architecturally unusual bottle house made of around 48,000 differently shaped bottles is also worth a visit. Drive to Goygol National Park, where you will see one of the most beautiful lakes in Azerbaijan. Here, in the middle of the semi-desert and in a rather Muslim tradition, the typical German architecture is still a special feature today. Here you will visit the house of the German Viktor Klayn.
