The 33-minute ride on Europe’s highest open-air cog railway has an altitude of 1,469 metres. It passes over impressive bridges, galleries and tunnels and skirts larch and arolla forests, gorges and mountain lakes. Cable car and Alpinexpress journey from Saas-Fee to the Allalin glacier
The Alpin Express takes you in record time to the Alpine underground station at 3000 m altitude. The highest underground funicular takes you up to the Mittelallalin, Saas-Fee’s highest ski area, and the highest revolving restaurant in the world, at 3500 m. In this restaurant, the entire fantastic mountain world with Switzerland’s highest peaks flashes before your eyes at precisely one hour. Here, in the world’s largest ice pavilion, you’ll enjoy an experience you’ll never forget. Discover the life and secrets of glaciers with a visit to the depths of the Fee glacier.
