Paris
Paris is always a good idea!
Paris has a thousand faces and just as many ways to discover them. Unmissable sights, unusual and surprising places, important events…
The Must-sees of the trip
- Musée D’OrsayThe Musée d’Orsay is known worldwide for its rich collection of Impressionist art and is also the museum for the entire artistic output of the Western world from 1848 to 1914. The museum’s collections encompass all forms of expression, from painting to sculpture, decorative arts, photography and architecture to a palatial railway station inaugurated for the 1900 Universal Exhibition. At the end of 2011, the museum was reopened in its entirety, completely renovated and equipped with new spaces: 400 m² more space for the Mountain Pavilion, the Post-Impressionist artists at the heart of the museum, the reorganisation of the Impressionist Gallery, a new space for temporary exhibitions, not forgetting the new “water” decoration of the Café des hauteurs, entrusted to two Brazilian designers, the Campana brothers.
- MontmartreMontmartre is a neighbourhood with authentic charm, famous for the Sacré-Cœur basilica and the magnificent view of Paris. The top of the hill can be reached by funicular railway, which costs the price of a metro ticket. The more athletic can climb the 222 steps via Louise-Michel-Platz. After visiting the basilica, visitors embark on a historical walk across the Montmartre hill: Place du Tertre and its famous cartoonists, Espace Dalí, the Montmartre vineyards, the Lapin Agile cabaret, the Montmartre Museum… The walk continues down to the Moulin Rouge, the historic cabaret theatre with its wild and world-famous parties. Along the way, visitors can enjoy the creative and trendy shop windows of Rue des Abbesses and Rue Tardieu, the shops of Rue Lepic, the cosmopolitan flair of Rue de Steinkerque, the cheeky Pigalle neighbourhood and the Montmartre cemetery. Just a few minutes’ walk from the Moulin Rouge, in SoPi (South Pigalle), the tearoom in the garden of the “Musée de la Vie Romantique” (Museum of Romantic Life) is ideal for a gourmet break.
- Grévin MuseumDo you fancy a tête-à-tête with Louis XIV, Mozart or Jean Reno? Are you a fan of Kendji Girac? Under the spell of Ryan Gosling or fascinated by the lively Katy Perry? Meet all these personalities during a visit full of surprises between exceptional themed settings! The Grévin Museum, a unique and unmissable place in Paris, offers you the opportunity to pose alongside more than 200 personalities who have made or are making history, from past to present! Enjoy a fantastic experience with family or friends and create a personalised photo album unlike any other!

Bateaux Mouches (round trip boats)
If there’s one thing in Paris you shouldn’t miss, it’s the journey along the banks of the Seine… aboard one of the boats! The city’s most beautiful sights, from Notre Dame and the Eiffel Tower to the Grand Palais and the Conciergerie, pass in front of the passengers’ marvelling eyes.
An incomparably prestigious setting that promises an extraordinary experience.
The Arc de Triomphe
A unique panorama of the Champs Élysées, the most beautiful street in the world. In 1806, Napoleon I ordered the construction of the Arc de Triomphe in honour of the Grande Armée. This highly symbolic monument, inspired by ancient arches, bears the names of the battles and generals of the Revolution and the First Empire. It houses the tomb of the unknown soldier, whose flame is rekindled every evening. From the terrace, you can admire a unique panorama of the Champs Élysées day and night.
Jardin du Luxembourg
Located on the edge of Saint-Germain-des-Prés and the Latin Quarter, the Jardin du Luxembourg, inspired by the Florentine Boboli Gardens, was created from the initiative of Queen Maria de Medici in 1612. The 25-hectare garden is divided into a French and an English section. In between, there is a geometric forest and a large water basin. There is also an orchard with old and forgotten apple varieties, an apiary to familiarise yourself with beekeeping, greenhouses with a breathtaking collection of orchids and a rose garden. In the garden there are 106 statues scattered throughout the park, the monumental Medici Fountain, the Orangery and the Davioud Pavilion. There are numerous activities and facilities for children: puppet theatre, merry-go-rounds, slides… Adults, whether Parisians or tourists, can play chess, tennis, bridge or with remote-controlled boats. The cultural programme is marked by free photo exhibitions on the garden’s trellises and concerts in the bandstand.
