Dijon is the capital of the large Burgundy-Franche-Comté region in the east of central France and an excellent cultural destination. The city bears the label “Ville d’art et d’histoire” (City of Art and History) and has a 97-hectare protected sector. This part has now been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site as part of the “Climats du vignoble de Bourgogne”.

  2. Visit the Musée des Beaux-Arts de DijonThe Museum of Fine Arts of Dijon, housed in the west wing of the Dukes’ Palace, has been extensively restored over the last ten years. A completely renewed museography and contemporary extensions offer visitors a new experience centred around the 1500 works of art on display.
  3. Caress the owl of Dijon and make a wishWho in Dijon doesn’t recognise the owl of the Notre-Dame church? Approach the owl sitting on one of the chapel’s buttresses and caress it with your left hand so that it will grant you a wish!
