Agadir
Fancy a holiday in the sun, by the sea and in total relaxation? Enjoy a wonderful beach and a variety of activities in an all-inclusive package for an unforgettable holiday!
With a pleasant climate, golden beaches of fine sand stretching over 30 kilometres and bright sunshine all year round, Agadir is undoubtedly an excellent destination and a first-class seaside resort. Its Atlantic coastline is lined with luxurious hotels and leisure complexes with access to the beach. They are characterised by their modern Moroccan architecture and are well equipped to offer a wide range of leisure and sports activities such as golf, tennis, horse riding, etc., without forgetting the wellness cures. Agadir has the best spa centres in Morocco and Africa and is one of the largest thalassotherapy destinations in the Kingdom.
The Must-sees of the trip
- Imouzzer by minibusAbout 62 km north of Agadir lies Imouzzer, a small village in the mountains. The journey takes you to a canyon from where you can admire the landscape dotted with oleander bushes, palm trees and olive trees. In Imouzzer, a short walk takes you to a waterfall that the Moroccans call the Bridal Veil. A visit to the souks is also offered on Thursdays.
- Massa in an off-road vehicleIn an off-road vehicle, you drive through the Souss plain, a region that is very important due to its agricultural production. On impressive tracks, you will discover the foothills of the Anti-Atlas, past the Youssef Ben Tachefine dam, which leads to a large lake. The route continues to Massa, a Berber village on the Atlantic coast, through which the Wadi Massa flows, which has been a protected national reserve since 1991. After driving along the coast, you will reach the fishing village of Tifnit before setting off on a route reserved for the Paris-Dakar Rally: what a pleasure to drive on sandy tracks by the sea!
- Tiout – TaroudantThis excursion takes you to the heart of the fertile Souss plain, the hinterland of Agadir, a veritable vegetable and fruit garden of the Moroccan south. After a 1 hour and 30 minute drive, you will reach Tiout, a picturesque Berber village where you can ride on a donkey through the palm grove (not included in the price). After a typical lunch in Tiout, you continue to Taroudant, the capital of the Souss, which is one of the oldest cities in Morocco. Old city walls, some of which date back to the 14th century, surround Taroudant, which is often referred to as Little Marrakesh. A stroll through the old town with its narrow alleyways and souks will take you back to the Morocco of the past.

A day in Essaouira
This former corsair harbour, which used to be called Mogador, is one of the most attractive Moroccan towns on the Atlantic coast. Essaouira was founded by the Portuguese and designed by a pupil of Vauban. It is reminiscent of Saint-Malo in Brittany.
The picturesque fishing harbour, the medina and the souks will pique your curiosity. The city is famous for its carpenters, who will reveal their centuries-old methods of woodworking to you.
Day trip to Marrakech
Marrakech, the second imperial city, has a population of around 1,000,000 people. Morocco’s most attractive city has given its name to the whole country and offers magnificent testimonies to its glorious past. This excursion includes a visit to the Bahia Palace and the Koutoubia. This is followed by the unmissable walk through the famous souks, a veritable labyrinth of shopping alleys. Even more amazing is that you will see the Jemaa el Fna square in the heart of the city. Here you will find snake charmers, fortune tellers, acrobats and other artists.
Riding the wave in Tamraght
If you’re visiting Agadir with the desire to do something outdoor, surfing should definitely be at the top of your list. With its beautiful beaches, Agadir is a favourite among surfers and offers waves suitable for all levels. Tamraght and Aourir are some of the most popular spots around Agadir and are ideal for beginner surfers. For smaller waves, the “Banana Beach” is ideal. You can reach it by car, taxi or the “Souk to Surf” shuttle bus. The latter is cheap and practical and runs daily from Agadir to Tamraght.
