Souq Waqif Doha

Built on the site of Doha’s centuries-old trading market on the banks of Wadi Musheireb, Souq Waqif looks like an anachronism against Doha’s dramatic modernist skyline. With its traditional mud buildings, the market is reminiscent of a bygone era and yet is still a centre of bustling life today, where trade and a cosy chat go hand in hand.

Arabian Wildlife Park – Sir Bani Yas Island Abu Dhabi

The Arabian Wildlife Park covers more than half of this incredible island. It is one of the largest wildlife parks in the region and home to over 17,000 wild animals, including Arabian oryx, gazelles, giraffes, hyenas and cheetahs. Guests can go on unique nature or animal safaris here in specially designed four-wheel drive vehicles and accompanied by an expert guide. The state-of-the-art stables on the island offer a variety of activities on horseback as well as riding lessons for the whole family.
