Guindalense: Porto’s unspoilt rooftop
First place on the podium goes to Guindalense, the mythical esplanade of the eponymous football club and very popular during the Saint John’s Day festivities. This terrace has not yet been taken over by tourists, which is why it is our favourite rooftop in the city. Authentic and unadorned, you can have a beer and a hot dog on plastic tables. Despite its picturesque feel, it has one of the best views of the city, at the foot of the Fernandinha Bridge and Wall.
