The Must-sees of the trip

Lake Skutarie National ParkDrive to Lake Skutarie, one of 4 nature reserves in Montenegro. This lake is the largest freshwater reservoir on the Balkan island. There are around 50 islands on Lake Skutarie, which are popularly known as “Gorica”. During a boat trip (duration approx. 2 hours) you have the opportunity to observe various bird species. Lunch at a local restaurant. Afterwards you will see a traditional Montenegrin dance group.
BeciciThe day is free for you to explore or relax. Discover Budva, with its narrow streets, the old town centre with its medieval city walls, where architectural treasures are hidden.
Cetinje – NjegusiToday you will make a trip to Cetinje to learn about the history and traditions of Montenegro. From the coast, the route climbs up into the Brajići Mountains to the first viewpoint overlooking the Budva Riviera. The route continues to Cetinje, the old royal capital. You will see the royal palace and continue to the famous ham village of Njegusi. Smoked ham, cheese and sausages have made this village famous. Try the folk drink of the Old Slavs – mead or a glass of the best ambassador of Montenegrin vineyards – the grape brandy “Loza”. Lunch in Njegusi. Return via the famous serpentines, where you have a marvellous and unique view of the entire Bay of Kotor.

Lake Biogradsko National Park

Enjoy a day at leisure. Optionally, you can go on a day trip to Lake Biogradsko National Park. Drive to Lake Biogradsko National Park, a pearl of nature in the north of Montenegro.

The highlight of the day is the Tara Gorge. You will enjoy the marvellous view of Tara Gorge and its bridge. The highest arch rises 150 metres above the river. Visit to Lake Biograd and 2.5-hour jeep tour with nice stops in the Bjelasica Mountains.

Kotor Old Town – Perast

Today you drive to Kotor. Followed by a tour of the town. It is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Surrounded by a medieval city wall, with several small squares, a cathedral and several churches, it is the city of sailors and famous captains. Kotor is located in the bay of the same name, the only fjord on the Mediterranean, which was voted one of the 25 most beautiful in the world. From Kotor, take a boat to Perast to see the artificial island “Mary of the Rock”, which today houses a church and a museum.

Dubrovnik

Day at leisure. You can take part in an optional excursion to Dubrovnik. Discover Dubrovnik, which still embodies the flair of an ancient trading and cultural centre. City tour through the historic city centre. Afterwards free time at leisure.
