The Tramuntana Mountains, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, are a must-see. On your excursion, don’t miss a stopover in Valldemossa, a charming village that has retained its original character.
Dragon Caves of Porto Cristo (Cuevas del Drach)From Palma de Mallorca, head to Porto Cristo, where you will find the Dragon Caves (Cuevas del Drach), which were first mentioned by some historians in 1338! This natural wonder lies 25 metres underground and stretches over 1200 metres. From the galleries you can admire all kinds of stalactites, stalagmites and other geological curiosities that have been formed over the centuries by the infiltration of water and other natural elements. The galleries also lead to an underground lake that is 117 metres long and between 4 and 12 metres deep. Lake Edouard Alfred Martel, named after the speleologist who was the first to cross it, is one of the three largest underground lakes in the world.
Island tourThis excursion first takes you to La Calobra and through the beautiful landscape of the Tramuntana mountains, which have been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. La Calobra is characterised by the Torrente de Pareis, a spectacular canyon that has been formed over the centuries by two mountain streams flowing into the sea. At the foot of the canyon is a beach that lies between the two cliffs. After lunch, you will take a boat along the cliffs to Port de Soller. There you will change to a traditional tram that will take you through the valley lined with orange trees and the colourful landscape. Finally, you will take a train from 1912 to Son Reus in Palma before returning to your hotel.

Palma & Valldemossa

This activity allows you to combine a visit to the capital of the Balearic Islands, Palma de Mallorca, with a visit to Valldemossa, a picturesque village in the heart of the Tramuntana mountains, whose streets you can wander through at your own pace. The route first takes you to Palma, which will enchant you with its vibrant atmosphere and cosmopolitan character. In the old town you will find traces of different civilisations and sights such as the famous La Seu Cathedral, a masterpiece of Gothic architecture, or the Almundaina Palace, the official residence of the royal couple from the 14th century. You can also stroll along the marina or take a look around the narrow streets lined with characteristic houses, chic boutiques and charming cafés. On the drive to Valldemossa, you can enjoy the beautiful landscape and the view from above while your tour guide tells you everything you need to know about the village where George Sand and Frédéric Chopin stayed in the winter of 1838-1839. After your arrival, you will have the opportunity to explore the authentic character of the town on your own or visit the Royal Carthusian Monastery with its old pharmacy, the church or the cells where the monks used to stay. In the palace of King Sancho, you can attend a folklore dance performance or a piano concert to complete the experience.

Felanitx and San Salvador market

The first thing you can do is immerse yourself in the warm and colourful atmosphere of the traditional Mallorcan markets, where good cheer and the scent of aromatic herbs and fragrant spices reign supreme. The Felanitx market is a weekly meeting point for locals and occasional visitors. Countless stalls are set up in the narrow streets of the town centre and around the church of Sant Miquel. It offers all kinds of food and handicrafts and is particularly popular for its ceramics. After this first visit, continue to the Sanctuary of San Salvador, a popular pilgrimage destination at an altitude of 509 metres. There you will visit the monastery, which dates back to 1348, and enjoy a breathtaking view from the hill on which the monastery stands.
