The Must-sees of the trip
- San José – PacuareEarly in the morning departure from San José by bus with the tour guide from the lodge. Breakfast stop on the way, arrival and check-in at the lodge (for the sporty ones among you there is the possibility to take the rafting boat to the accommodation). Near the river, you have the opportunity to hike along the lodge trails or to a waterfall. For good hikers, a visit to an indigenous village ‘Cabecar’ and a horseback ride are offered. Thrill-seekers can be tempted by a rafting tour on the Pacuare River. Dinner and overnight stay at Tropical Rivers Camp, which is located on the banks of the river in a wild and remote area.
